Explosive remnants of war continue to pose a serious threat to children and families in affected communities across southern Lebanon.
Through child-friendly awareness sessions, Developmental Action Without Borders - Naba’a is working with children and parents to strengthen knowledge, promote safe behaviours, and help prevent avoidable harm.
Our approach is grounded in children’s rights: every child has the right to life, safety, protection, and access to age-appropriate information that enables them to recognize risks and respond safely, without creating fear.
The message is simple:
Do not approach. Do not touch. Move away. Report.
Suspected hazardous objects should be reported to the Lebanese Mine Action Center (LMAC) through the hotline 1706.
Protecting children means addressing not only the consequences of war, but also the dangers it leaves behind.
