Nabaa Hosts Seminar on Elections and Women’s Political Participation at Saida Municipality
Naba’a, in partnership with Saida Municipality, held a seminar titled “An Overview of the General Parliamentary Elections and the Importance of Women’s Participation in Political Life,” presented by Ms. Faten Younes, General Director of Political Affairs and Refugees at the Ministry of Interior and Municipalities.
Dr. Qassem El-Saad opened the event by emphasizing the importance of electoral awareness and strengthening women’s role in decision-making.
Ms. Younes outlined key electoral laws, candidacy procedures, and challenges facing women as voters and candidates, followed by discussions on boosting women’s participation in public life.
Representatives from municipalities and civil society organizations attended, underscoring shared commitment to promoting equality and inclusive political engagement.
