Not all struggles are visible.

Some take place silently within a woman striving to overcome fear, reclaim her voice, rebuild her confidence, and find the strength to move forward.

In Saida and Ain El Hilweh, 80 women, out of 200 participants from host communities, displaced communities, and refugee communities, came together not simply to receive information, but to access a safe space to speak, breathe, and be reminded that they are not alone.

Through sessions on Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS), trauma recovery, Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), and life skills, participants explored their emotions, stress, and the impacts of violence, while identifying the inner strengths and resources that can support their well-being and recovery.

Through relaxation exercises, moments of reflection, and the creation of a “Tree of Life” illustrating their roots, memories, and aspirations, new spaces for trust, mutual support, and hope began to emerge.

Because dignity must be upheld through action, every participant who completed the sessions received two dignity kits, bringing the total number of kits distributed to 160.
These are more than sessions or kits. They carry a message to every woman:
You are seen. Your voice matters. Your strength can help you build a new path for yourself and those around you.

These activities were implemented under the project “Contribute to alleviating the suffering of the most vulnerable displaced and refugee communities affected by the armed conflict in Lebanon” in partnership with Developmental Action Without Borders – Naba’a, the Lebanese Organization for Studies and Training (LOST), and Movimiento por la Paz (MPDL), with funding from the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID).
