Opening Nabaa Center in Shabriha

Developmental Action without Borders Organization, Nabaa, has opened a center in Shabriha, Southern Lebanon.  The center is for children, parents and the local community.  The main activities of the center will focus on remedial education for Palestinian refugees from Syria and Palestinians originally residing in Lebanon.

Representatives of Save the Children (Ms Sonia Zambakides, Program Director of Save the Children in Lebanon and Mr Maz Rengifo, Executive Coordinator and Legal Representative) and representatives from Nabaa (Executive Director Mr. Yasser Dawoud, Program Coordinators Mrs. Hiba Hamzi and Raed Ataya) opened the center.

The opening day included entertainment from clowns.  Attending were 150 children and 100 parents, the Mayor of Shabriha, and key members of the town.  At the end of the day gifts were distributed to the children and helium balloons were released.
