Manara Network (Child Rights Network)

17 Jun 2016

The Manara Network was established in 2009 by a network of civil society organisations from a number of Arab countries.  Coordinated by Naba´a, the network consists of 11 NGOs from 8 Arab countries. It focuses on coordinating and promoting information and action on children’s rights in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). We work with children so that they can be young researchers and advocators for their rights.  7,500 children and adolescents in 9 Arab Countries (Lebanon, Palestine, Jordan, Egypt, Iraq, Yemen, Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia) were taught about children’s rights and were provided with the proper tools to influence decision-makers on issues affecting them.
